This place is perfect for a short stay in Charleston. Quiet surroundings yet within walking distance from restaurants and downtown. Highly recommend. Any questions were promptly answered.

Stayed 3 nights and it was mostly good. The good; The place was a great size for 1 person, much more space than a hotel room would have. The shampoo/conditioner/etc were nice. The neighborhood felt very safe, was a ten minute walk to King Street and there were a lot of local restaurants near by. There was also a DASH bus stop very close. The host was responsive which was appreciated. The negatives; the door covering was seriously lacking. I'm sure people could see in when walking by. The window above the door has no covering and there is a balcony for another home right next to it. The dishes in the kitchen were covered in dust, I had to wash them all before I felt comfortable using them. You will hear the upstairs neighbors. It's an old building and there's no getting around it. If you NEED silence to sleep, this place isn't for you. My number one complaint was that they wouldn't allow me to check in one hour early without a large fee, even though it was clean and ready.

Beautifully decorated, very clean studio space. However, not what we expected - very close to sidewalk. The AC unit was small and not enough power to keep the space as cool as we would have preferred. There was a fan which helped slightly. If we were younger it might have not been anything to mention but being older 55+ and paying almost $250 for one night with a 4pm check-in, we expected more comfort and amenities for the kitchen upon our arrival. If these things do not matter to some - and like an urban area, this is your place. Again, very modern/clean space with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It was OK for an overnight and getting to airport next morning was pretty easy during morning rush hour.
